Here at Marine Collectors, we strive to supply our customers with only the highest quality marine life available. The fish we sell are handpicked and inspected by expert aquarists. As fish keepers, we know sh*t happens.
You are covered by our Fish Happens! policy.
If the fish you purchase does not arrive alive, or has trouble recovering from shipping, we’ve got you covered. We cover ALL losses up to 72 hours after arrival; no questions asked. Just shoot us a photo. More than enough time to have your new finned friends bounce back from shipping and be assured that they will make a great recovery!

Just file a claim here - including a photo of the lost fish with your corresponding order number.
Policy rules:
- We need a photo, so don’t flush that fish till you snap a quick picture.
- We do not cover ‘disappearing fish’ or casualties due to aggressive tank-mates or aquarium structural/functional issues. It is your responsibility to provide a photo of the casualty.
- Store credit is issued for the purchase price of the lost fish only.
- Store credit can be used to purchase a replacement, or to purchase any other fish on our site. Thats right, if you incur a loss and we issue you a credit, you can use it to buy anything else on the site!
- Guarantee may only be redeemed once per fish, per customer.
- Fish Happens does not apply to Adoption Fish or special orders otherwise specified. No Exceptions.
- We do not cover shipping costs for replacement fish.
