Notes:
What an honor it's been to have this guy in house at Marine Collectors. Mostly seen in markets over seas, primarily Japan, we were lucky enough to bring this individual to the states!! This Anthias have been with us since April of 2021. When it arrived it was around 4" in length and since, has grown substantially.  Usually a very shy species, this particular individual is bold and a very aggressive feeder. these fish also typically enjoy a tank with dim lighting, however, this specimen has be housed in a tank that recieves quite a bit of natural sunlight and has lost its propensity for dark caves and overhangs. This fish has been under the personal care of Marine Collectors Owner Elliot Lim and have been part of his deepwater collection for almost 2 years.
